In this module, students look at two activities which carry an element of risk – gambling and investing in stocks and shares. They should very soon come to the conclusion that the probability of winning vast sums of money through gambling is miniscule. On the other hand, investments in the stock market, although carrying an element of risk, actually also reap huge financial dividends.
