Module One - Money, what's the big deal?
This module will help young people to explore what money is and what it is used for, their own attitudes to and thoughts about money. It is intended as a starter to get them thinking about the attitude, skills and knowledge they need to be financially capable. The first part of the module introduces students to why we use money as a means of exchange. They will learn about its role and function and the need to behave responsibly with money either as individuals or at a society level. The second part encourages students to look a little more closely at their own aspirations and how their attitudes towards money will help them achieve their goals.
