
In this module, students are firstly asked to identify whether various statistics about UK debt are true or false. They investigate varying degrees of debt using a card activity. They then carry out two activities in which they look at different scenarios (one with students still at school, and the other with adult situations). They have to analyse the problems in the scenarios, ascertain why the people got themselves into the situations they did and what they think they should do in order to get themselves out of the situation.
