Module Three - I'm a consumer, get me out of here!
In this module, students investigate and discuss their spending habits. They look at a very real scenario whereby they have moved out of their parents’ home and are living on their own. They carry out budgeting exercises both for the fictional character Tariq and for themselves. They explore the differences between needs and wants (survival and lifestyle items) and learn to prioritise in terms of the things they decide to buy.
